Hello Stranger (Thai Movie)

This is another Thai Movie that I had the interest watching. First and foremost, the whole movie was shot in Seoul. Yay! Yay! Yay! As I am a Korean at heart and planning my Seoul getaway this November, I have to watch this! The famous tourists spots were seen in the movie such as N Seoul Tower, Nami Island (famous for Winter Sonata), Lotte World, etc. You can also have an idea what tourists should do to enjoy Seoul in this movie like eating late at night on tents and skiing.


IMO, the male lead character is not that eye candy but he was just hilarious so I found myself laughing most of the time because of his carefree (and sometimes weird) attitude. Dang (male lead, Chantawich Tanasewi) and May (female lead, Nuengtida Sopon) who are totally strangers to each other went to Seoul for a vacation. Dang found himself awake on a different hotel and May (feeling obliged to) helped him to find his hotel and be his travel companion and that's how the story between them unfolded.


The ending of the movie is a bit bitin. The essence is there but I hope there's something more. I think Thais have a knack in that kind of endings like what they did on First Love movie.


P.S. Thai names are soooooo hard to remember!

First Love a.k.a Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Thai Movie)

I never thought I'd be liking a Thai Movie with much enthusiasm like I did for Korean and Japanese movies.

The story is simple -- high school crush turned love -- but great and most especially it will make your heart flutter. *kilig* Plus, the male lead, Mario Maurer is a certified cutie. :)

Point to Ponder: If two persons are meant to be, everything will fall into its right places. It may not be today, but whatever it takes, you will be together tomorrow until forever.
